Product catalogue & order quote system

    Hi there

I've been looking for a WP plugin for a while now which can suit my needs to sell personalised clothing but with the ability to get a free no obligation visual and quote before purchase.

My current site is just set up using contact forms with images of designs and clothing to choose from, which emails me, then the rest of the service is manual. I'm hoping this plugin will be able to streamline the service, especially with the freshbooks add on.

This is what i want to do:

    1. Customer chooses a garment from the catalogue
    2. Customer is directed to a page where they choose their personalised decoration
    3. An email of their choices is sent to me, an auto-responder is sent to them
    4. I send the customer a visual of their order directly to approve (not necessarily immediately)
    5. They continue with the order process
    6. Once paid, we go into production

So is Gravity for me or am i barking up the wrong tree? Can i create a mini product catalogue with it as part of the contact form?

    Thanks
    Emma

  2. Gravity Forms wouldn't be able to automate those workflow completely as your workflow is specific to what you are doing.

You can have a drop down field where they select which garment they want, and you can also pre-populate this field when they come from that specific garment by passing information to the form via the query string.

However, if you are fine with "5. They continue with the order process" being you send them a link to a form where they can complete their order and not something that is triggered or happens automatically... then yes it's possible to do.

Gravity Forms currently can integrate with PayPal for *SIMPLE* payment processing. See this tutorial on how to do it:

We are also working on a PayPal Add-On right now with 2 way integration with PayPal and payment statuses on the form entries. Gravity Forms v1.5 will have pricing calculation field capabilities and both will be released at the same time.

They will be released as beta releases later this month.
