Product registration and mailing list option.

  1. Hello all. I'm not new to Gravity Forms (the best!) But I am new to the mail-chimp add on. I'm not finding a whole lot of tutorial info on this add-on. But what I want to do is this:

1)Allow a user to fill out the form to register their product and have that go into a list on MailChimp.

2)Have an option to receive future mailers from us. This needs to send people to the same Warranty list as above, but also into our general newsletter list.

Is this possible? If so, A tutorial/instructions would save the day. I think I can figure it out, but it'll save time if someone can assist me!

    Thanks!

Have you taken a look at this?
    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/MailChimp_Add-On

The basic idea is that you create a form in Gravity Forms. You create a list in MailChimp. And then in the MailChimp section of Gravity Forms, you match them up and control which fields in your Gravity Forms match with fields in MailChimp.

    And that should be it.

Thanks so much for the prompt attention!

I'm still a touch confused: Can I set the one form to submit to our product registration mailchimp list. But also (not instead of) allow people to opt into our general email list?

Let me know. Part of me thinks the answer is staring me in the face and I'm missing it.

To be honest, I haven't used the Mailchimp add-on to subscribe the same person to two lists simultaneously before. If you see both of your Feeds (registration and general) in the Gravity Forms Mailchimp section, try setting it up, and see if it works.
