Public View on Form Submissions

So I have a question - I'm interested in creating a website that's based off people's life experiences. I want users to be able to submit their experience anonymously, and then once submitted to be viewed on the main page by any visitor to the site. I understand that a feature of Gravity Forms is "Allow Users to Automatically Create a Post" - does this mean the plugin can accomplish what I want? Once a user fills out the form and submits it, I want it automatically posted to the front page without my approval, does it do this as well?

If the answer is yes to everything, is it easy so set this up?

  2. Yes, you can setup a form that will create posts. You can set it to create the post as a draft or you can automatically publish the post. It is entirely up to you. It's easy to setup using the available Post Fields. Post Fields in the form builder are what create posts.

So even custom fields on the form will appear on the final submitted post viewable on the front page of my site?

  4. Custom Fields will not automatically appear in your Post Body. The Post Body is one field, just like in WordPress when you create a new post. Custom Field data, etc. isn't automatically inserted into the Post Body.

But the Custom Field data will be stored as Custom Fields if you use the Post Custom Field fieldtype on your form.

If you want to insert the value of other form fields and custom fields in your Post Body you can use the Post Content Template functionality of the Post Body field which allows you to control the content of the Post Body field and insert form field values from any field on your form into the Post Body, including Post Images.

So I think I get it - so in order to have custom fields appear I have to insert the code into the post body template? Is there an easy instruction guide to do this?

So what I want is in fact possible then with just some extra work, right?
