qTranslate and Gravity Forms

    i have two questions before i'm going to buy the plugin..

    1) is it working with the qtranslate plugin? would be georgous to have tabs over the forms so i could have it working in multiple languages before inserting it to a page.

    2) is it possible to group fields to style them with css? i tried the demo and haven't found a way to group, let's say, 2 single line fields together to style them in one line with e.g. labels at top while having the fields below in it's own rows with labels to the left ?

    I haven't actually used the qTranslate plugin so I can't vouch how or if it works with that plugin.

    I'm not sure what you are referring to with your 2nd question. Are you asking if you can group multiple fields on a single line? This is possible but requires custom CSS to accomplish. You would have to use CSS to float the fields, etc. So it does take more advanced knowledge of CSS to customize the layout this way.

    I'm guessing you're talking about grouping fields into "panels" like the current address field, etc. If so, that's not something that's currently possible.

    We've kicked around the idea and something like that may make it into a future version, but for now it doesn't exist.

    kevin got me right. sorry for not being more specific on this one.
    so far qtranslate and gravity forms are working fine together, but the gravity form fields do miss the tabs for multiple languages.

    but i read somewhere in the forums that a) you're planning multiple language support and b) it would be possible to create a form for each language and then show the specific form based on a hook.. hope there's some help here on how to acomplish that :)

    what i was looking for was a way to group form fields to formsets and the option to assign my own IDs and/or classes to the fields. that way i could have some more control over the output.

    you made a really nice product here that keeps a lot of hassle away from me! guess i'm in..

    You don't need a hook to display a language for each form. If I remember how some of those translation plugins work properly when you edit a post you have a tab for each language and can edit the post body content for each language. So for each language you would just select the form for that language and output it using the short code. So yes you would need a form for each language.
