Question on storing posts

    Hello,

If someone submits, for example, a contact us form, does that get emailed out and also get stored in the database?

Just wondering if there was ever an email problem, if we could look in the database and see the contents of the post.

    Thanks,
    Ronnie

  2. Gravity Forms stores all form entries (submissions) in your WordPress database. It can also send email notifications (an Admin Notification to you and a User Notification to the user submitting the form) if you configure your form to do so.

So yes, if there is ever an issue of an email not arriving... you can login to your WordPress admin and view all form entries.

You can change the default notification to send to a specific e-mail, or remove it once you've added your user notification. Also, it is not really a good idea to post on a thread that is two years old. This could have easily gotten missed by our team. It is best practice to start your own threads if the issue is very old or not the same as what you are experiencing.
