Questions before purchase

  1. First off I can't tell you how often people have suggested your plugin over LOTS of alternatives in the WP plugins directory.

I have an order form for a local dairy farm that I want to put online. They have about 60 products and a typical order is 6 products. With other plugins I would have to email the whole list of 60 products with a bunch of 0 quantities in the email. I want to show an email to the owner with only what someone selected in the form. Is this possible?

Also with these 60 products can I split the products into 2 or 3 columns to minimize scrolling and wasted screen space?

Lastly am I able to include a small thumbnail with each product in the list?

You can see the old version of the form here http://www.shawfarm.com/order.htm

    Thank you!

  2. Yes, the notification can contain only the products that were ordered, not 54 zeroes and 6 products.

Yes, you can split the form into columns using the CSS Ready Classes.

Thumbnails can be added to your form. You can use HTML in the label for the form field, so, if you are using checkboxes for your product (which seems likely since you allow the purchase of multiple items) you can use the HTML img tag there and show the product next to the check box. Example here, using images of flags. http://gravity.chrishajer.com/2011/07/22/where-are-you-from/

All in all, I think Gravity Forms will be able to do what you need. I did not see any functionality in your existing form that cannot be created in Gravity Forms. Please ask for more information or examples if you have more questions before purchase. Thank you for considering Gravity Forms.

  4. Great Ken. Congratulations and thank you. Let us know if you need more help after you purchase. Be sure the address you register with on the forums here is the same as the PayPal address you use, or you won't have access to everything.

  5. Chris, can you take a look at the form I made with your plugin and tell me if I'm able to make this into 2 or even 3 columns. It's very long and customer wants to shorten it a bit.

  8. Ken, if you need more specific support, please open a new topic with your questions in the regular support forums, rather than the pre-purchase forum, and we'll be happy to help you. Thanks.
