Just wondering if it would be possible to get a quicktags feature that adds quicktags like strong, italic, blockquote, link, code and strike through for the post body field? Or even WYSIWYG...
Would make things a lot easier of novice users who don't know much about wrapping tags etc.
I'm not sure if we'll add something like this or not, especially since it's so easy to add some of the third party editors, but we will consider it for sure.
For now, try NiceEdit.
It's as easy as adding one line of script to your page template to enable a WYSIWYG editor for your textarea. It works really well.
