Registration form finctionality

  1. Hi,

Can I do the following with the registration form addon:

    1. Add specific fields into the form
    2. Have the form data entered, post to Wordpress AND mailchimp?

I've installed the addon but cant seem to add in fields such as country, sector etc.

    Thanks

Hi there, can you give us more information on what you need help with? I am confused on where your issue lies.

You can add fields to the form and have those fields submitted, added to a post on WordPress, and sent to Mailchimp.

  3. ok sorry,

My intention is to use the registration addon to register users for the Wordpress website, and also have that data sent to mailchimp simultaneously.

Your reply says that can be done but I'm having issues in trying to accomplish it. I've clicked on Registration form 'Add New' and then chosen the registration form I created in Gravity forms, then mapped the fields to the ones I want.

The question is I'm still two fields short ont he form (want to add sector and country), and how do I then have that data added to mailchimp?

    Thanks

You are two fields short on the registration form? You will have to use custom user meta fields. As for mailchimp, you have to create the same kind of mapping on the mailchimp add-on to map the form fields to mailchimp fields.

Hi David, Can you pls explain how I can "add fields to the form and have those fields submitted, added to a post on WordPress, and sent to Mailchimp." I am using GF registration form to ask customers questions about themeselves. I want to be able to map these fields to both wordpress and mailchimp/constant contacts.
