Renewed License, Forms still not working

  1. Hello!
I recently took over the web development of a site, and the gravity forms expired. I renewed the license today using my email address (I don't know the email address that was used originally). I don't know what the license key is and the forms still are not working.
Can you reset the license key or email it to me? My client needs to get this information asap!
    Thank you!

  2. The expiration of the license does not prevent Gravity Forms from working. Your forms and entries will continue to work, as well as the Gravity Forms code. You might have something else going on. The license key is used for upgrades and support. It does not make the code work.

Can you post a link to your site along with a description of what is actually happening? Thank you.

  3. Sure!
We have several forms on our site, and this is one of them:

People are filling out the forms, because I can see them in the Wordpress panel, but they are not emailing to our email address (info@dragonflyhotyoga.com). I also tried to resend the notifications to our email but that isnt working either.

  4. So the forms are working, the entries are being created, but you are not receiving the notifications. Can you receive any email from WordPress on that server?

It sounds like a mail delivery problem. Gravity Forms hands the notifications over to wp_mail() for delivery. Check your spam folder or try a new email address (with another email service, like GMail, Yahoo, Bing, AOL, company email, something) and see if they arrive.

Also, are visitors being sent email confirmations, and if so, are they arriving?

  5. If you have a log in for the support forums here, we will move this to the regular support forums. Please confirm before I move this topic. Thanks.

  6. I do have a log in, but it won't let me see the regular support forums, which is why I posted it here.

I will check into seeing if they send to a different email.
    Thank you!

  7. The log in for the support forum needs to use the same email address as the PayPal purchase. You will not be able to use the regular forums unless the email address matches the one from the PayPal purchase.

  8. I tried changing the email address and filling out the form and it's still not working.
How would I try to test if I can receive other email from Wordpress?

  9. Try registering a new user and see if you get a notification from the WordPress site. Make sure the email address for the WordPress admin user is the same one as the one you are using on your Gravity Form (to eliminate one variable.)

  10. To work around these issues, you can also install the WP Mail SMTP plugin and configure that to send mail from WordPress.

  11. I did use the same email as my paypal purchase... hmm?
I just set up a new user in Wordpress and didnt receive an email notification.

  12. Do you know why the wp_mail() would just stop working all of a sudden?

Thanks I will try that plugin to see if it helps!

  13. I got it working with the plugin you suggested. So thank you! The site is on godaddy and it looks like that might have been part of the issue. But anyway I am glad it's working now!
