Return form

My client would like to make a return form, basically I am looking for a contact form which has a multi selection, when selecting one of the two options, depending which you select will determine the input after that.
For example: http://www.q-imaging.com.au/return-form here when you select faulty goods the forms below change to suit that and when you select return product again it changes.

  2. You can create that form without a problem in Gravity Forms. You would use what's referred to as conditional logic to do this.

Is there an example of this on your website so we can confirm it?

  4. How about this:

There are a couple cosmetic differences but I think it's mostly there. I tried to replicate what fields you marked as required. What you want to accomplish is certainly possible.

If you wanted to do things a little differently, I would recommend using the new list type field so you can allow more than one product return. The columns would be the things you need to know about each return, and the visitor could just add a new row to return more products.

Please ask more questions before you buy.

    Thanks.

    Chris,

My client and I are very impressed with your prompt response, immense help and your example.

My next question would be, is this simple to build/achieve as you have once we have purchase your product? I believe my client wants to add more returns so customers do not have to refresh the page over and over.

As well, we only wish to use it on one website, so would these features be covered in the Personal License?

    Thanks again.

  6. Yes, it's simple. I think it took me about 30 minutes to create, and a lot of that was forcing it to look like the original form. It can take less if you are open to going with the default styling in Gravity Forms, or may take more because you're just starting out. I can export this form for you and you can use it as a starting point for your own form.

As I mentioned previously, the new "list field" would be ideal for handling multiple returns on one form. That is coming in 1.6 which is currently available as a release candidate. I would recommend starting with that release candidate as you are just starting out and this functionality will really improve the user experience for your form.

One website, personal license is fine. You can always upgrade later if you find you need any of the add-ons which are available with the other licenses.
