Search Form

  1. Is it possible to create a conditional logic 'search' form using data entered from other forms.

For example, User 1 completes a conditional logic form ultimately creating a post on my site (i.e. 2010, Ford, F350, Black). Now, User 2 comes along and is searching for a vehicle...I would like them to be able to complete the same (or a replica of) conditional logic form as User 1 but have it be used to 'search' my GF database instead of 'post' to a page.

If this isn't a current functionality, is there an add-on work-around for it? if not, could I pay someone at GF to create the code for this? or is this not even possible? Please advise.

    Thank you!

  2. I'm not quite sure what you are trying to accomplish based on your description. Either way, it's not something Gravity Forms does out of the box. Literally anything is possible via customizations and the use of our API hooks and filters which are documented in the Developer Docs section of the web site. But you would have to write custom code, or hire a WordPress developer with Gravity Forms customization experience to do it for you.

  3. Sounds like User 1 is submitting a form that creates a post. But User 2 really just need a way to restrict the search on your site with similar conditional drop downs. User 2 does not create a post? Is that accurate?
