set author after submission

    I use the user registration add on for users to register and to add their shop to a custom posttype. The problem is that the username is not set as author of the post because the registration and entering the shop info happens at the same time. How can I set the author of this post to the registered user when he hits the submit button?

    No solution, only a workaround. I first let the shopowner register an account, then when he logs in, he can register his shop.
