Single opt-in with mailchimp add-on

  1. Hi,

Is it possible to have a single opt-in to mailchimp via a gravity form? If not, I'll just do it manually through HTML, but if gravity forms can do it, that would be great!

  2. What do you mean by a single opt-in?

Do you mean they have to select a checkbox and opt to be added in order for the form to add them to your MailChimp list? If so, yes. This is an option. It's called the opt-in condition. It's an option on the MailChimp Feed setup when creating the integration.

You add a checkbox to your form, ask if they would like to join your mailing list, and then setup the opt-in condition on the MailChimp feed using the MailChimp Add-On to use that checkbox field.

The double opt-in is a MailChimp feature separate from this. It sends them an email and asks them to confirm their subscription. You can turn this off and just use the form opt-in condition instead.

  5. Mike, how long has it been since the subscription form submission? Another user mentioned recently that subscribers sometimes take a while to show up at Mailchimp.
