Some Gravity Forms will send data to mailchimp, but some will not.

  1. I am having an issue with Gravity Forms not sending to Mailchimp.

    I have 3 forms on the site. 2 seem to be working just fine and sends submissions to Mailchimp.

    One doesn't... the one that doesn't work has a number of form options and filters for multiple mailchimp groups... It seems the simple forms go through without a problem, but not the one I really need to go to mailchimp (which has a lot more options and data to collect).

    The form DOES work when I submit from Preview, but not from the actual webpage... what gives?

    Chris sent me the alpha version of a logging add-on which may help debug this. I installed it, but do not know what to do next... help is welcome!

  2. When you install and activate the logging plugin - go to the Settings page of Gravity Forms and at the top you will see a Logging link. Click this link and then enable all messages for MailChimp. Save. Next time the form in question gets filled out a log will get created. Go back to the Logging page and there will be a link to view the log. This should show you what happened.

  4. I spent all afternoon understanding why some of my emails weren't getting sent to MC. I installed the logging app and activated it for MC.

    Seems when you reuse the same email to test your form, even though you don't confirm subscription, it's pending in the MC system and you won't re-receive an subscribe confirmation email when you retest the form with the same email. Even though you haven't confirmed. Then, I confirmed with the email, and immediately unsubscribed. Seems like there's a delay before you're able to re-subscribe. This seems like it's all happening on the MC side of things.

    As for bugs with GF, seems you MUST use a group or the email never gets sent to MC. Stupid.

    Hope GF guys fix this in the next update!! This is soooo frustrating!!
