Spam Registration

    Hi,

    We've activated the user registration add-on and configured our user registration form. We activated akismet integration, enabled anti-spam honeypot and added a captcha field to the form, but we are still seeing a very high submission of spammers.

    Is there anything we potentially have configured wrong or anything we could do to overcome this issue? I believe e-mail validation will be in your next release, so we are looking forward to that.

    Did you solved that?
    Double opt-in should help, but I really cant find out right now how to do that with GF.

    The 1.5 beta release of the User Registration add-on was released on Friday and includes support for user activation (moderation). Does that help you?

    It includes both. However, it is beta software, so the best thing to do is test it out in a non-production environment before deploying it.

    I had no choice other than set it into production ;-))) But it is my fault, and plugin works ok so far.
    QUESTION: How can I customise subject line of the email with activation link?

    Can you add user activation link shortcut to Merge Tags, making it available for setting up custom user notifications?
