SSL Newbie

Hello, I am interested in setting up secure forms for my client using Gravity Forms. Will I need an SSL? Is that something that my web host sets up? To what degree does Gravity Forms need to be custom-configured in order to work with SSL?

Should I be concerned about SSL at all?

    Thanks!

  2. You would need SSL and it would have to be setup and configured on your web server.

You would also have to configure your WordPress site to use SSL. To do that you would use a plugin such as:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpssl/

    or

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/admin-ssl-secure-admin/

Which you can use to force a page or post to use SSL. You'd then embed your form on a page that you have configured to use SSL.
