I would love to use Gravity Forms to build an online event registration form and then give the registrant a "ticket" to the event which they can print and bring with them to the door. That ticket would include a QR or bar code that could be scanned.

I think this would be widely used for all Gravity Forms users using this plugin to do online event registrations and would be a great investment in making the plugin even more valuable than it already is! Please consider this as a feature that would have very high value.
Also, I need this for a client project and would be willing to pay a developer to create this for me and then use the code created as a GF Add on.
