Upload CSV of previous GF entries to a fresh Gravity Form install?

  1. Occasionally I have to make a fresh Wordpress install of an existing site. I export the form entries to a CSV. Then I make the new site, import the forms from the previous site, but I don't see a SAFE way to import the entries.
Is this possible? If not, is there a way I can decouple the gravity forms tables from Wordpress so this problem in the future?
    Thanks!

There is currently no way to import entries safely from a previous Gravity Forms installation. This is on our development list, but hasn't been developed as of yet. And you can back-up the _rg_ tables to have a back-up of your entries and restore those tables to the new site, but that doesn't always work due to the hooks and connections with WordPress.

  3. Thanks for the quick reply. How about decoupling the database. Is the best option just to hook it into a mailchimp account?

There is no way at this time to import form entries. The data is serialized and we don't have an import utility as of yet.
