    Can gravity forms have a form setup in the sidebar and automatically have the subject line of the submission as part of form. For example I have a post called XYZ Widgets, and when i look at the sidebar i see a form that says "Ask a question about XYZ Widgets" AND when i get the form submission the title and even the body says "A response about XYZ Widgets.

    Clear as mud?

    thanks

  2. I think I understand. Have a look at the properties on this site, and see if this sidebar form is what you want to do.

    It's simple to do in the form settings. You can use a default value for the subject line field, and insert this "merge tag" into it:

    [html]
    {embed_post:post_title}

    You don't have to type the merge tags out by hand, or remember them. They are available in a drop down. The same merge tags are available for use in the body of the form submission.
