User activation notice in 1.5b1

  1. Hi,
Great new features, but I have the following problem: when I set the user registration feed settings to 'enable user activation', there's no confirmation mail being send to the new user (or at least I'm not recieving it). When I change the settings to 'Send password to the new user by email' the notifications are send (to new user and admin).

As a matter of fact (and as mentioned in antother thread) I would love to have to option to let admins do the user activation after approval.

    Thanks.

  2. I am still hoping to find out why a user activation mail is not being send to the new user.

After manual activation by admin, user gets password/username email and admin gets new registration notification.

  3. I've asked the developers for their feedback on this one, to see if this is working as intended. Thank you for the report.

  5. Hi Tibor,

When you say "confirmation" email do you mean the "welcome" email that contains the username and password after the user has activated their signup? If not, could you specify which email you are referencing?

  6. Sorry for my very late response; I must have missed the topic notifiction.

I have not been working on this for a while, so I would have to do some testing to reproduce the problem, and give a better description...
