User Content: Author Meta & Custom Post

    Hello!

I was wondering if when a user submits a post via GravityForms... if there's a setting so that they must be signed in, therefore automatically linking the submission with the correct author meta.

I was also wondering if you could easily set the forms to be sourced to custom posts I've created, eg: Projects, via GravityForms itself or an easy tweak to the code and such.

  2. As of Gravity Forms v1.6 there is a feature to require the user be logged in before they can view the form: http://grab.by/bhY5

I'm not sure I understand your second question. Could you clarify? :)

    Sorry for the confusion!

I've created custom post types that I would like some of the forms to be linked to, ie: if the default WP user-submitted content form goes to the default post-type 'post', is there a setting that I could tweak to have certain Gravityform's submission be changed to a different post type?

Argh, that still sounds super confusing. I basically want users to be able to submit content with images and these submissions won't be be the default post-type 'posts' but a custom 'projects.'

  4. Hi Kathemo,

You might consider using the third-party add-on GF Custom Post Types which will readily allow you to post posts to different post types.
