I think there is some information on here regarding my question, however, it tells me that post is restricted.
My question is; is it possible for the user to come back later and edit their entry form?

No, that is not possible with Gravity Forms currently. It's something being considered for version 1.7, and there are 3rd party options available, but it's not a feature of Gravity Forms.

There are no plugins that I know of to do this. There have been a couple posts in the forums about people working on it but I have not seen the solution yet. I would link the topics here but you would not have access to them without a Gravity Forms license.
Anything is possible with Gravity Forms and the hooks that are built in, but it's not a built in feature and this is not its intended use and I would say that none of the solutions that have been proposed are robust enough for me to recommend.

Not for a while. I believe there will be another release before that, likely 1.6.3, that will not have these features built in.
