User Meta not saving in User Registration Settings

  1. I've been trying to setup custom User Meta and mapping them in User Registration Settings, but when I save it the custom field I added is returned blank.

The steps that I have done:

    1. Go to User Registration Options
    2. Add new form
    3. Add User Meta, select Custom Meta
    4. Entered in field, address, select in drop down matching field
    5. Save

The custom meta I have defined is now gone.

Any one encounter this? GF 1.5, User Registration 1.2

    Thanks,
    Danny

  2. Hi tatertot,

Would it be possible for you to send me FTP and WP access to your install? I'm having difficulty recreating this on my end and would like to see your exact setup.

  4. For others with a similar issue, this issue was caused due to a theme conflict where the theme was loading a second (and different) version of jQuery in the header.

I have the same issue. I had someone take a look who said it wasn't a jquery conflict, but then again, they aren't a Gravity Forms admin. My User Reg Gform collects all data in 'form entries', and also collects the name, username, and email in USERS, but not the meta data.

I'm suddenly having the same problem after making some changes/additions to the meta fields. It was populating them before and now it's not. Is there a solution? I've tried deactivating and reactivating the registration plugin.
