User Registration Addon: Registration Condition

  1. Hi guys,

This addon really is a fantastic addition to this plugin. Great work!

On the site I'm working on, I'll have a form where users can comment, register or do both (they select what they want from 3 radio buttons and corresponding form fields appear).

My issue is that, in the "User Registration Settings" page, the "Registration Condition" under "Additional Options" only lets me select one registration condition. In this case I'd need two and would need to be able to set it to "any just like for the COnditional Logic in the form itself" I have 3 options:

    1- Comment
    2- Register
    3- Comment and register

I need the form to register the user if either 2 or 3 are selected but not if 1 is selected.

Is it something that could be added to the final release of the addon?

    THanks!.

I have not worked with this add-on yet, but have many ideas for its use in mind. The functionality expressed above does seem like something cool to use.

  3. Hmmm... sometimes the obvious jumps at you too late... ;) I just realized I can set the condition to "is not" on my option #1 ;) Problem solved for me in this case.

But if I had 4 options and needed to meet any 2 to register, the feature would still need to be modified.

  4. We will take a look. Currently the condition is a simple one, similar to how the conditions work for the MailChimp and Campaign Monitor Add-On. It isn't designed to be like the conditional logic in a form, it's more of a single condition that must be met rather than multiple. But we can take a look at enhancing it in a future release. It may not make it into the 1.0 release.

  5. Excellent Carl!

As I said, I found a way to make it work for me now but I'm sure the issue will come up for other people in the future.
