Variable passing?

Before I purchase I would like to know two things.

    1) When visitor makes a request can Gravity Form include the URL of the sending page?

For instance: Visitor come to my site, sees a product. I would like to have Gravity Forms in the sidebar widget area (which I know GF recently added). When message is sent to me using the form, one of the Fields can be the URL of the page the form was located on.

    2) Can I pass data through the URL to be included in the message of a visitor sending me a message using Gravity Forms?

For instance: I would like to assign a field in GF to include a variable passed through the URL. Currently, I am on this URL:
    http://forum.gravityhelp.com/?new=1

When I send in this message - if it were my form - I would like to have one of the fields "Page" display the value after the ? in the URL:

    Page: new=1

This may be tricky on SEO blogs which change the URLs to search engine friendly URLs and normally do not have the ?functioncalls included.

Therefore, it would be cool to have the page URL, instead. In the incoming message - I would like the page URL in my incoming form message to be a click able hyperlink - so I can quickly see the page the user was on when filling out the form.

PS - I tried to find the answers to the above questions, but I am stonewalled by messages such as:

This page requires a valid support license key in order to access.

    and...

The product you have purchased does not give you access to this forum.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

    Sincerely,

    Blazer

  2. 1) Yes, Gravity Forms stored the URL of the page/post the form was submitted from. This is called the Embed URL when viewing the entry details.

    2) Yes, you can pass data to a form and pre-populate fields or populate hidden fields using either the query string or some custom PHP.
