Watermarks, when?

    Hi,

I'm considering buying Gravity Form but I see there is no built-in way to add watermarks (populate a field with text and then have the text disappear when someone clicks in it). I've tried with a friend's account to get the trick posted somewhere on the blog to work but I didn't manage to (that was on a Genesis theme). Anyway, I saw in the forums that there have been several requests for this for some time now... why not add this option to the plugin and when could it be realistically expected ?

  2. We don't speculate on release dates for new features or plugins. There are workarounds available to add placeholder text (like this plugin right now http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-placeholders/ ) and adding placeholder text to the core of Gravity Forms is something we've had on our radar a long time. Thank you for expressing your opinion as one more vote.
