Wizard

I'm looking for an eCommerce plugin that will allow me to seel products in a "wizard" form. Let me explain:

I'm selling custom built PC's. I want a wizard that will start with a base labour cost, then guide the customer through a varieity of choices (case, motherboard, harddrive, etc - each screen should show pictures and a description of the options) and then calculate the total cost at the end and add the customised product to the basket. Finally it should add a shipping charge. Can Gravity do this? Maybe in conjunction with Cart66?

    Thanks,
    Adam

  2. You can accomplish this with Gravity Forms. It's going to be some work to make it work like a wizard and be robust, but it's possible to accomplish this with Gravity Forms.

Thanks Chris. Could you give me some idea of how it would be done? I'm trying to cost out the work for a client. Is it possible to download a trial version of Gravity so I can confirm whether it meets my needs?

  4. There is no trial version available, because the code is unobfuscated and unencrypted. When you make your purchase, you have full access to the code.

As far as an idea of how it would be done: it doesn't sound that difficult from what you describe. If I had to put a number of hours on it, for someone familiar with Gravity Forms, I would say it might take between 10 and 20 hours. That's a very rough estimate based on very loose guidelines in your initial question.
