1.7.beta1 comments/feedback thread

  1. When I install the 1.7.beta1 all my existing comfirmations are set to default "Thanks for contacting us! We will get in touch with you shortly."

So it created two confirmations, the default and another, and both of them have the text listed above? Can you take a screenshot? Are you using the latest version of WordPress? Did you customize your notifications using PHP at all? Any other details you could give us to repeat the bug would be very helpful.

  3. No. Just one confirmation. It just goes for all my forms.

I am using the latest version of Wordpress (3.5.1) and I am using the WordPress Shortcodes plugin to get some extra design on the confirmations. Worked fine with the older versions of GF.

Otherwise, I just installed the beta update and discovered that the texts had been changed back to default.

  4. The confirmation font is really big compared to the old version.

  5. The jQuery UI Date Picker on the front-end is missing styling. It worked fine before the upgrade.
I'm working with WP 3.5.1 and GF 1.7beta1.

I cannot get file uploads to be sent as attachments. Notification sends email but no attachment.

I followed the instructions on the new dev documentation.

There also may be a typo on that page - the first 2 examples specify add_action but all other code on the page specifies add_filter

  8. Good feedback. I will be glad to take a closer look, but I will need WP admin and FTP access to your sites to take a closer look. Please send it to alex@rocketgenius.com with a link to this post.

    Thank you!

  9. @Taeke,
Can you try clearing your browser cache and see if that makes a difference. I think it is still using the old version of the stylesheet.

I am currently having the same issue as Gus White, the Notifications are sending, but the attachments aren't coming through.

If you ever found a solution, please let me know. I would also be happy to share access to site to troubleshoot.

    Thanks!

  11. It would be awesome to be able to duplicate comfirmations and notifications.

  12. Thanks for the suggestion Allan. Seems like a logical extension of the new confirmation and notification functionality.

  13. I can no longer create new forms. The overlay window is placed to high and creation requires a title to work.
