A way to delay PayPal submission pending merchant age verification?

  1. Hi there,
I've set up a Gravity Form/PayPal form to take submissions for a wine club.
I'd like to be able to receive notification that the new member has submitted their Gravity Form, and entered their PayPal information on the PayPal site.
Then, we need to verify their age (we have a software to do that), and then, once their age is verified, APPROVE the transaction in PayPal.
I don't know where to set this up....in the Gform/PayPal form on the website....or on the PayPal end???
    any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    thanks!

  2. How about validating the age before sending the transaction to PayPal? If the software can be automated or scripted, you could create a condition where after the form is submitted, you check the age, then return the results, and if the age is OK, then send the transaction to PayPal. Otherwise, give a message that age verification failed.

I don't think I've ever completed a transaction at PayPal and NOT been charged. I believe that's how it works.
