Accommodation enquiry form using product field but requiring modification

  1. I would like to use the product field on an enquiry form for an accommodation site. As the accommodation charges per person and not per room, we would need another quantity field for it to work really well. For example, the product would be "twin adults accommodation" then there would be one field for the customer to input number of people, and one field to input length of stay.

I hope there is a way to do this, thanks for any help you are able to offer.

  2. There is a standalone Quantity field you can use in the Pricing Fields. Add the Quantity field to your form, then change it's field label to whatever you want it to be instead of Quantity. If you are using the Single Product product field, disable it's quantity option.

If you have multiple Products on your form, when you add multiple Quantity fields you can select which Product that Quantity field is associated with as an option on the Quantity field.

  3. Thanks for your quick reply,

Sorry I didn't explain myself properly in the previous post. What I want to do is make the total price of accommodation (total field) = price (product field) * quantity (quantity field)* number of nights (another quantity field). I understand it isnt meant to do this out of the box but thought there may be a hack to get this working, it would be great if it could.

    Cheers,
    Andy

  4. Currently there is not. But an Add-On specific to handling Accommodations is a good idea that could handle this type of product.

  5. That would be really great... that extra field would do wonders for me right now!
