Add a field on the fly

    Hi,

I suspect that this may be achieved with conditional logic . . . but I can't find any documentation for that feature (can you provide me a link to same please).

Question: Is it possible to set up a field whose sole purpose is to accomodate a request to add another field?

My scenario is that I have a form with (amongst other things) three fields available for the user to respond about various widgets.

However if the user has 4 or more widgets that they wish to respond about, I'd like to give them the option to add one or more fields on the fly.

    Is that doable?

    Thnx in anticipation.

  2. Currently dynamically adding fields on the fly based on a user clicking some sort of add button or selecting a number from a drop down and having it dynamically add that number of fields isn't supported.

It can be accomplished using Conditional Logic, but it would be limited to only the fields you add to your form and then hide with conditional logic so it wouldn't be unlimited as far as being able to add an unlimited number of dynamic fields.

Conditional Logic is an option under the Advanced tab when editing a field. You click a checkbox to turn on conditional logic and then select which field the condition is based on and which value that field must have for the field to show or hide.

We are in the process of overhauling the documentation to a new Wiki platform so this will be launching soon.
