Add a "to approve this post" snippet to post submission email

  1. I'm setting up a site so that members of a parish can submit announcements and the parish secretary can then approve them to be posted to the site. I've created the form for post submissions and I'm wondering if there's an easier way to remind the secretary how she goes about actually posting them to the site. Right now, in the Message part of the email, I just put a link to the "pending" section of the dashboard with the text "To approve this post, visit the "pending posts" section of your Dashboard and change the status to "publish." But I'm wondering if there's an easier way.

  2. There isn't anything specific in Gravity Forms to do this. You'd have to do exactly what you are doing by adding a message to the Admin Notification. There is a merge tag in the "Insert form fields" drop down that you can use that will provide them with a link directly to the edit post screen for the post that is created so they can go right to it to review and publish it.
