Add custom text field to Multiple Choice selection

I know this has been asked before but I have searched all over and cannot seem to find the answer.

I'm using the Multiple Choice field and adding an "Other" option at the bottom where they can type in what they choose to.

Does anyone know where I can't get thorough documentation for this? TIA

  2. Hey there, in the latest version of Gravity Forms that just got released (1.6) this is possible.

    Radio Button Other Option
The Multiple Choice field has been renamed to simply Radio Buttons and we have added an option to the Radio Button field to enable an Other option. If selected, the Radio Button field will give the user the option of entering their own value if one of the available options does not meet their needs.

  3. Is there a way to change the "label" of the radio button other option? e.g. "more" instead of "other"?

  4. Yes, this can be customized using a hook and custom PHP you would add to your themes functions.php file. You can find documentation on the gform_other_choice_value hook here:
