Add-ons ask for GF licence key... but it's there!

Hello, I know this is not the most important issue, but in many sites I manage, appeared this notice in the plugins page, under the add-ons:

"Register your copy of Gravity Forms to receive access to automatic upgrades and support. Need a license key? Purchase one now."

The fact is... that the copy is registered and in the GF settings I see a green check near the licence key field.

    Thanks!

Has this been consistent for a few days? Sometimes our update/license servers experience a hiccup during an API check, and result in such a message. Other times, a firewall or server misconfiguration or plugin conflict can cause this issue. If it stays that way for a few days, please let us know, and we can give further instructions/steps.

We have the very same problem, with the added problem of any new form(s) created and short-code used will not appear within the post/page, even though in setting area the green tick is present.

Have had the "Register your copy of Gravity Forms to receive access to automatic upgrades and support. Need a license key? Purchase one now." problem for a few days - and just noticed the short-code problem.

Have checked for plug-in conflict - but still have problem

Connect - your issue is different. You might have one similar symptom, but the issue that is being experienced shouldn't effect Gravity Forms from working. Can you create your own support thread with a link to your form please so we can take a look?

As for this license key issue, if someone can send their WordPress admin login details and FTP details to peralty@rocketgenius.com with a link to this thread, I can pass it on to our developers to look at.

  8. Maybe / maybe not related to this issue.

New site I had developed by a 3rd party developer who installed Gravity Forms 1.6.12. Currently it is giving me the alert:

There is a new version of Gravity Forms available. View version 1.7.2 Details. Register your copy of Gravity Forms to receive access to automatic upgrades and support. Need a license key?"

When I go to register using MY gravity forms developer license key which I just renewed on 3/26/13 it won't accept it, giving me the Red X.

Any thoughts on if it is related or how to resolve?

I'm just chiming in so I can get added to this topic by email.
I've been going crazy for three days with a new site and I'm having this exact issue. No matter what I do, I can't get GF to recognize my dev license so I can use the mailchimp add
    on.

I've tried adding my key to wp-config and to gravityforms.php. I've gone through all the steps of activating, deactivated, deleting, reuploaded, and switching to default themes. Nothing helps.

    Thanks for investigating!

Just to add to it the comment above, I never get a red x. No matter what I add to the box, the green check mark is visible.

  12. Disregard my post, upon further investigation and looking up my license key in my account in the support section....they key number I had copied in to a text file and was using had an error in it. My bad, corrected license key works, updates fine, all good on my end.

Ok, just sent admin and ftp access. The site is brand new, still in development. No one is looking at it except me. So it's safe to deactivate plugins and theme and so on. Have at it!

    Thanks for looking into this.
