Adding a string file to the notification email

  1. I am looking for away to add a vcard to the notification email.. yes I have all the php code for the vcard and will grab the required information from the inputed fields but I need assistance on how I go about implemeting this into the notification email

There isn't currently a way to add code to the Notification email so this would have to be done via some sort of customization to the core plugin, which we wouldn't recommend unless you are prepared to maintain this code when we release updates, etc. We can look into offering vCard support via some sort of add-on, are you trying to do this for the admin email or both?

  3. Thanks Carl for your response. I am doing this for admin notification. I went ahead and disabled the builtin notification and added the custom code and custom notification email and calling it through the gform_post_submission hook.. works great.. thanks

  5. 3dp, this post is too old to be relevant. Please start a new topic and ask your specific question and we will help you there. Since this post was written, new hooks were added which will allow you to add attachments to the notification email, if that's what you're looking to do.
