Adding % and $ to custom_field

    Hi,
What's the best way to display % and $ in input fields of custom_field type? Ideally the $ and % should be dropped before recording in DB.

The Wiz solution for $ is good but works only with post text fields no custom fields.

    Thanks,
    Youssef

  6. The Gravity Wiz tutorial will work to add a dollar sign to a custom field input.

I tested "single line text" with my Post custom field. What sort of field type are you using which is not being formatted with the dollar sign? Do you have a link to your form online?

I am actually developing on my machine. I tried it with a custom field that is number. No success. I will try again tonight to confirm and report results. What about the %?

  9. This feature isn't currently supported by Gravity Forms, and it is unfortunately a little too complex for us to help you out with. The Gravity Wiz article should be a good help for the the currency formatting, but as far as extending that to support percentage formatting, I would recommend that you try posting this in our Job board (http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/forum/job-board) and see if any developers would be willing to take on this project.
