Hi,
What's the best way to display % and $ in input fields of custom_field type? Ideally the $ and % should be dropped before recording in DB.
The Wiz solution for $ is good but works only with post text fields no custom fields.
Thanks,
Youssef

Hi guys,
Any chance to get an answer?
Thanks!
48h have passed no reply. Any plans for an answer?
Sure, we've seen your post and are conferring about a solution for you. Someone will post back as soon as we've had a chance to talk it over. Thanks for your patience.
OK. I'll wait. Thanks Kevin for acknowledging!
The Gravity Wiz tutorial will work to add a dollar sign to a custom field input.

I tested "single line text" with my Post custom field. What sort of field type are you using which is not being formatted with the dollar sign? Do you have a link to your form online?
I am actually developing on my machine. I tried it with a custom field that is number. No success. I will try again tonight to confirm and report results. What about the %?
No answer whatsoever!
This feature isn't currently supported by Gravity Forms, and it is unfortunately a little too complex for us to help you out with. The Gravity Wiz article should be a good help for the the currency formatting, but as far as extending that to support percentage formatting, I would recommend that you try posting this in our Job board (http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/forum/job-board) and see if any developers would be willing to take on this project.
