Adding Fancybox in thesis.

  1. I was going through the excellent tutorial by Kevin Flahaut for setting up GF with FB.

    http://www.gravityhelp.com/creating-a-modal-form-with-gravity-forms-and-fancybox/

My question how could I do this in thesis theme. Even I tried by installing FancyBox wp plugin. No LUCK.

    Any Suggestions Please..

  2. Thesis functions differently than most themes so it will be a little different setting things up. You'll probably need to get in touch with Thesis support or check their forums for how/where to add the script references, how to make custom page templates, etc.

  3. How about Headway Themes (which I'm using)? Do you know if there are any compatibility issues when creating modal forms in fancybox (or other lightboxes for that matter)? I followed your tutorial on the subject, updating the fancybox version number in the header.php code and uploading the fancybox folder to different locations (i.e., root of wp themes directory, etc., as you suggested in a reply to another post) but couldn't get it to work. And if there are issues, do you know of a workaround?

I also tried the fancybox for wordpress plugin, but it didn't work either.

Thanks in advance for any comment or suggestion.

  4. Gloria,

I don't know of any specific Headway/Fancybox issues but you'll need to talk to the Headway theme support team about that. That's a theme support issue, not a Gravity Forms support item.
