Adding form to Event Manager Plugin not working.

  1. I am using Event Manager to handle my Calendar. I would like to add a gravity form to my Event. When I add a new event I have access to the Kitchen Sink and when I click on add form, I get the pop up and it is blank white with an X in the top right.

Here is what it looks like in the backend:

I can add to a post just fine.

    Any suggestions?

  2. It works on Posts and Pages because that is what it was designed for. Event Manager is a 3rd party plugin and we have never tested Gravity Forms with it. It sounds like it's including the Kitchen Sink when it shouldn't be using everything because it's not all going to be compatible with the Event Manager.

Do you know if the Event Manager body even supports shortcodes? If so you can manually add the shortcode for the form to your event body. You can get the correct syntax for the shortcode either from adding it to a post and copy-n-pasting the code, or building it yourself.

Instructions for shortcodes are in the Help page of the plugin (Forms > Help) and you can also find it here in the documentation:

    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/embedding-a-form/

It will only work if the Event Manager plugin processes shortcode requests in the body of the event when displaying it.

  3. I am guessing that it does not support shortcodes because I already tried adding it manually. Thanks for the speedy response. I know where to look now.
