Admin labels in admin side and notifications?

  1. In this form, I have some fields under Volunteers that are labeled Name, Hours, Comments on Performance on the front end but have Admin Labels of Volunteer 1 Name, Volunteer 1 Hours, and Volunteer 1 Comments (and so on for four volunteers).

I have two questions - first in the admin side, I thought I should be seeing the Admin Label, but I see the front end label for all 12 of these fields when I'm editing the form.

Second, how do I get the Admin Label to show up on notifications instead of the front end label? Do I have to manually put each field in the notification rather than use all_fields?

  2. For the second question, in 1.6 (which is nearly ready for final release) there is a new way to use all_fields. You can use {all_fields:admin} and your notification will use the admin label rather than the user label.

For the first question, on the advanced tab, for Admin Label, what you entered is not being used as a column header in the list of entries, or on the individual entry in the admin? What version are you using, as that has not been my experience.

UPDATE: when you're EDITING the form, not viewing the entry. Got it. The public label is what's displayed in the form editor, so what you are seeing is the correct, intended behaviour.
