Admin notification email sent before payment is received

  1. I have a form with a radio button to choose if an amount is a recurring "donation" (subscription) or a one time donation. Both Paypal feeds, or whatever they are, are set to only send the admin email after payment is received at Paypal. The subscription behaves as it should, the one time donation does not, and sends the admin email regardless. I have seen this happen on other sites I've done as well but I just let it go and warned my client to double check everything. The others by the way were one form with one paypal feed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  5. I'm having the exact same problem. I have checked the "Send admin notification only when payment is received." option in the PayPal transaction settings but the email is still being sent and the entry created before payment is processed. Same as davewhite all installs are up to date.

  8. Hi Chris, I'm also having this problem. When a customer fills out the order form on the website and clicks submit to be taken to PayPal to pay, then it sends an admin email to the user thanking them for the purchase. They don't even have to do anything at PayPal. As soon as they click the button it sends. Then, in the admin, the "order" shows in the Entries page as "Pending". I'd appreciate your help.
