Admin Notifications working for Some Addresses and not Others

  1. I setup a Gravity form but the primary address that I would like to receive the notifications does not receive anything. I checked spam and there is nothing there. After trying a few things I set the notifications to go to another address and that works fine. The addresses I am using are both on Google Apps but different domains. Any ideas?

  2. Please try using an SMTP plugin to handle the email coming from your WordPress site. You can try any one of these:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/configure-smtp/
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cimy-swift-smtp/

Install and configure one of those and see if your notifications arrive more reliably.

  3. Yes, that was the route I ended up going. Strange though, I didn't need an SMTP plugin for my site and my email is hosted by Google Apps too. I'm not sure why my clients was having an issue. Oh well, problem solved.

  4. Glad to hear that worked for you. Every host and every email provider seems to handle email delivery differently. The SMTP plugins fix the problem in almost every case.
