Could someone explain the functionality associated with Ajax set to true for Gravity Forms? I do not understand the functionality and what is gained by having it set to true? Thanks in advance.

  2. There are limited use cases for using AJAX. If you don't think you need it or don't have a problem to solve, you probably should not use it.

The advantage I see is that the form is submitted "in place" without a page refresh. This has been useful to me in a sidebar widget, or when uploading a file (so you get the nice AJAX "Loading" spinner telling the visitor "something is going on") but other than that, I don't have much use for it.

  4. Sure thing. I'll leave this open in case there are other advantages or disadvantages people can come up with.
