All forms work but one: Warning Message but no highlighted errors

  1. I have several forms using PayPal payments pro that all work correctly. I have one that I cannot get to submit if I have Payments Pro activated. Upon pressing the submit button it gives the following warning message: "There was a problem with your submission. Errors have been highlighted below."

    But no errors are highlighted.

If I remove it from the Payments Pro feed, it works fine.

Yes, there is a credit card field.
Yes, I have entered the CC info correctly.
Yes, I have other forms currently working with Payments Pro so the API settings must be correct.

    Any suggestions?

  2. Is there anything different from this form as compared to the other forms that have no issues? Do you have a link to a form that's working and a link to the one that's not?

  3. Rob:

Thank you for your very fast reply:

I have been trying to figure out the difference, but so far I can't. The first one is a brand new form I just created to see if I could repeat the problem. Since I first posted, I also changed HTTPS plugins to the one you suggested.

    This one works: https://www.centralparklawholland.com/test-payment/

    This one doesn't: https://www.centralparklawholland.com/create-llc

  4. Have you tried the non-working form via the formbuilder preview?

  5. On an additional note, it appears to only be sending charge amount of $1.00 to PayPal regardless of the cost of the item. I have tried multiple types of items in varying amounts and PayPal only runs the CC for $1.00.

  6. Rob:

The form works well in preview and will work fine until I link it to PayPal Pro Forms in settings. It appears to be some communication issue when the info is sent to PayPal.

  7. Can you export one of your forms and send the XML file to me to rob@rocketgenius.com and reference this post in your email so I can test locally.

Any determination on what the issue was? I seem to be having a similar issue using PayPal Pro for the first time on the left form of the two on this page: https://www.freedomincreation.org/test/get-involved/donate/

I'd like to try fixing it with whatever helped here, if there was resolution.

    Thanks,
    Sean.

  9. Sean, there's usually never a universal issue with these types of things.

However, in your case - is there any reason you didn't go with just one form on that page, with two feeds tied to the single form with conditions enabled?

You could simply pose the question: "Would you like to donate one-time or monthly?" Then enable the condition on each of the two feeds accordingly, if they select one-time, the one-time feed kicks in, if they select monthly, the recurring feed kicks in.

Originally the one-time gift form was going to utilize the WP Stripe plugin and the monthly gift a Gravity Form, and then they both became PayPal Pro connected Gravity Forms and I just left the design.

Do you mean set the PayPal condition in the feed? I tried what you suggested with two feeds and the PayPal condition set to which donation choice is made, and it's a much more elegant solution.

I still get the credit card error though, any thoughts on what to do about it?

  11. Can you fill the form out in the formbuilder preview or do you get the error there as well?
