Allow User to set display name

  1. I saw in the recent update the ability to set display name, but it looks like the ability allows for using user name, or combination of real name. Is there a way to allow the user to enter a display name (nicename/nickname) in the form, and configure the feed to use that as a display name? If not, it might be a cool feature to consider?

I saw a little discussion on this in the forums, but I thought it was a new option just added by this update? Perhaps I'm doing_it_wrong(): ?

  2. Hi RVoodoo,

This feature only supports standard WordPress display name configurations ( http://grab.by/bUl2 ). It would be possible to integrate with the gform_user_registered hook to update the user's display name after the user has been created. This would require custom code.
