Animation is jerky/glitchy on snap back

  1. I love the animation built in to GF, but I've noticed that as forms cycle in and out of view, there is sort of a jerky motion toward the end, at least in Firefox and Chrome.

A new field displayed via conditional logic seems to expand too far down, and then snaps back up in a glitchy way. I can't put my finger on it, but either the distance or the speed of the div needs to be tweaked. I experience this on different sites, and in the preview window.

    My question is 2 parts:
    1. Is there a plan to improve this default animation effect, or to offer different styles of animation (ex: fade-in, ease-out)
    2. How can I tweak the default settings of the animation on a currently deployed site?

And as a bonus, how is the animation affected by CSS? Is there CSS to avoid when styling a form with animation?

    Thanks!

  2. Can you post a link to the form where you see this behavior? Thank you.

  4. That is jerky in your installation. Can you export the form please as XML and email it to me at chris@rocketgenius.com - I've never seen the animation act like that before and I would like to test it on another server.

It's possible it's a plugin or theme conflict on this site. There are a ton of scripts loading which could influence this behavior.

Also, how does the animation behave when in the form preview?
