sorry i found a thread addressing this issue
Thanks, good to know this issue has been resolved from a previous thread.
Where is the thread resolving this issue?
There are a bunch of threads on email notifications, i'm not sure which one resolved this users issue. If you do a search for "notifications" you will see a few threads. It might be an SMTP issue which would require installing one of the available SMTP WordPress plugins.
Hi Carl. Is it possible for you to help us and post that thread somewhere? Of course the only reason for purchasing gravity forms is to receive emails. I've been spending sometime trouble shooting and looking for "the" thread that solves this challenge. Thank you.
:D
In a nutshell, a lot of the time the issues with email are due to the user requiring an SMTP plugin to use SMTP to send email because their host doesn't allow the standard send mail php function to be used.
There are several SMTP plugins in the WordPress.org plugin repository that solve this issue. This is one of them:

However in testing your site, I entered my gmail address for the send to for your Admin Notification and I received both the Admin Notification and the User Notification just fine... so thats not the issue. You mentioned you are receiving the User Notification but not the Admin Notification. So there is something else going on outside of Gravity Forms control, the emails themselves are being sent.
Not to point out the obvious but I have had several people do this... make sure that you actually have a notification email address setup for the form.. it's not populated by defualt and it needs to be set for each form :-)
I was scratching my head about this one, too. Then, I decided to check my spam filter. There they were! I guess, because the recipient and the sender were the same, Gmail assumed it was spam.
