I know how to limit entries for an entire form, but I'd like to do the same to a field.
For instance: I'm running a contest and am giving away free t-shirts.
I have 25 of each size.
I'd like to have a drop down menu:
Choose your t-shirt size:
S
M
L
XL
When the 25 Large size have been signed up for, I'd like it to be take away
S
M
XL
I hope this makes sense, limiting items in a field to a particular number based on entries.
Currently there's no built-in way to do this. You would have to write some custom code to accomplish it.
If you'd like some development help, I'm always happy to recommend David Smith - david@ounceoftalent.com. He's one of our forum admins here and has more experience than anyone I know of with Gravity Forms customizations like this.
I have a similar problem I have 5 trips that people need to choose from for a confernece. Each trip has a limited amount of participants. I want to only allow X per trip.
Did you get this coded? What would it cost to develop it? More importantly how long?
