Assign form entries to users

  1. I am wanting to build a system where orders are captured in a Gravity Form and then the site administrator will be able to "assign" each order to a particular user for processing. Since this is healthcare related and the users will all be competitors, it is imperative that each user sees only their assigned entries and not the whole pool. Only the administrator should be able to see and modify all entries. How would one go about doing this? I've looked both in the forums and online, but can't see any guidance on the issue. Might have to hire someone I suppose. Any thoughts?

You will definitely have to hire someone as this is not something built into Gravity Forms, and would require a great deal of coding to achieve. We have some basic Roles built into Gravity Forms, but not as fine grained as you are looking for, in part because WordPress core doesn't provide us these tools.

Having entries "locked" to a user and hidden from others is a widely requested feature that we hope to develop at some point, but due to the complexity, it is currently a long term goal, and not something that will be released by us any time soon.
