Authorize.net Requirements

  1. I found this topic: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/authorizenet-provider-that-provides-pci-compliance, but I am still a bit confused. From that discussion it looks like you just need authorize.net and ssl, but when I started my card processing my merchant account required PCI compliance or I got charged extra $20/ month. So how come we wouldnt need it with this method? Or is it up to your merchant account?

  2. This is a question for whoever provides your merchant account. From our perspective you need Gravity Forms, the Authorize.net add-on, an SSL cert, secure your WordPress with SSL and that's it.

  3. my assumption with a wordpress installation is that the full domain would need to have the ssl installed, not store.domainname.com

  4. It depends on your configuration, but any place where you're dealing with credit card information needs to be protected with an SSL cert.
