Authorize.net simple/single payment (no shopping cart)?

    Developing a site for a doctor's office who already has an authorize.net merchant account/API-Key. I need a very simple credit card payment form for people to make a payment on their bill. No shopping cart - no products. I need the basic credit card fields, but, also a few extra fields such as "patient name" and "account number". Will the developers license upgrade serve this purpose?

    Hi kmcderm - The developers license will give you access to our Authorize.net add-on, which will let them take payments through that API. They will need a product of course to have a cost that they have to pay though.

    Thanks David. Is there any way to just have a dummy product already embedded somehow? ie so that the user/payer isn't confused. I just want it to look as professional as possible and for it to come across as just making a payment.

    Sounds like you need a single product and allow the user to define the price. The product pricing fields allow you to add a product where the price can be entered by the visitor. You could just call it "Payment" and allow the visitor to enter the amount they want to pay.
